Annotation:
This book tells of a very ambitious man who wants to share his love of books with people in nearby villages who are less fortunate. He piles books onto a donkey and acts as a traveling librarian every weekend.
Personal Reaction:
I enjoyed this story. It helps remind me how fortunate I am to have constant access to books. While the text for the story is fairly simple, this book is suitable for older readers because it is an older audience who would understand and appreciate the context of the story.
