Annotation:
This book features poems about different types of lifeforms that have been around for millions of years. Each poem presents information about the organism's qualities that have allowed it to prosper. Topics range from bacteria to grass.
Personal Reaction:
This book was interesting (as far as a scientific book can be). I did like the theme of the book, and how the author wrote poems about life forms that have managed to stick around for so long. The last few entries seemed out of place, as they were babies and humans, which have not been around for that long.
